Scosche at CES 2017 - Big Reveals, Rave Reviews & Two Awards
By: Lynn Grogan
Scosche brought some serious game to CES 2017. Every year, the CES Show in Las Vegas sets the standard for new innovation in consumer technology. Described as the show where “next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace,” CES – the International Consumer Electronics Show (International CES) – showcases more than 3,800 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. There’s also a conference program with more than 300 conference sessions and over 165,000 attendees.
This show is huge. And it’s easy to get overlooked when the biggest names in technology are blasting with both barrels, such as Sony, Panasonic, Dell, LG, Microsoft and Samsung at CES – to name just a few. Yet, despite all the obvious distractions, the Scosche booth was mobbed with attendees for the duration of the show. News of some of Scosche’s big new product reveals started circulating prior to the show, and word-of-mouth soon created a major buzz that kept the Scosche reps in great demand throughout the four-day event.
The Big Rockstar Reveal!
One such buzz-worthy event was Scosche’s big Rockstar® reveal. There was an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from attendees to this impressive selection of award-winning, rugged, high-performance Scosche consumer tech products featuring the distinctive and highly-popular Rockstar Energy brand. The new Scosche Rockstar Edition products include rugged wireless portable speakers, battery packs and charge and sync cables that are Optimized for Outdoors® and a variety of superior audio-quality headphones and earbuds, all featuring durable, high-quality construction and meticulous attention to design. The new Rockstar® Edition from Scosche is the perfect complement to any active lifestyle – from action sports and motorsports fans, to fitness enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers.
Rave Reviews on Exciting New Products
Scosche had an amazing array of best-selling and brand-new products on display at CES. The MagicMount™ QI Wireless Charging Magnetic Mount was very popular with attendees who were intrigued by this innovative and remarkably versatile new addition to the multi-award-winning MagicMount series of magnetic mounts for mobile devices. Another big hit was the new line of Scosche PowerSports Mounts – heavy-duty mounts that secure devices to bars and posts of bikes and vehicles for a secure hold over rough terrain. Scosche was also inundated with inquiries about its brand-new Integrated Touchscreen Dash Kits (Scosche is the first to offer them), and very cool new Dash Mount for iPad®. The new BoomBottle™ H2O+ and BoomBuoy™ Waterproof Wireless Speakers were also a big hit. Both of these speakers are the very latest additions to the multi-award-winning BoomBottle family of portable speakers from Scosche. And these are just a few of the remarkable Scosche products showcased at CES.
Two TWICE Picks Awards
Scosche won two prestigious TWICE Picks Awards honoring the best products at CES 2017. Carefully selected from among 170 entrants, the new Scosche MagicMount™ Pro Home QI Wireless Charger and TapStick™ Bluetooth Wireless Remote Control were both honored with TWICE Picks, which are awarded to products based on the impact they’re expected to have at retail and the marketplace.
“The TWICE Picks Awards are the answer for anyone who wants to know about the most exciting, game-changing products at CES 2017,” said Ed Hecht, TWICE publisher/VP. “Our winners are chosen using deep perspective by some of the most experienced editors in the business. Each of the winning products demonstrated rich innovation and is expected to positively disrupt the tech market. We offer congratulations to the winners and all the nominees — standing out above the crowd at CES is an accomplishment in itself.”
Much more to Come
Despite the many new product releases at CES, Scosche has a ton of new products scheduled for release in coming months. In addition to the company’s bestselling consumer tech products, there will be a constant flow of new car audio accessories and dash kits coming out in 2017.
